Description

Established neighborhood cocktail bar is looking for a competent bartender with strong cocktail experience who is great with people! We’re looking to fill 3-4 permanent closing shifts a week with the availability to pick up/swap shifts as needed. Experience and openness to work late nights is a must. The right person is more interested in providing a killer drink and a good time to our clientele than the cult of mixology, but should be well-versed in the history and various philosophies of drinking and drink construction. Like a good cocktail, we're seeking balance. You should have a good palate, enjoy experimenting with new recipes and ideas, and be able to work independently. You should be able to handle a busy bar (organize many orders in your head, prioritize, keep things tidy, etc) without getting flustered. Selling cheap domestic beer shouldn't bother you, either. Please respond to this email with your resume attached. Strong, relevant cocktail experience required; please do not apply if you do not have cocktail bartending experience. DOH Food Handler's Certification required
