Britex Fabrics, San Francisco’s legendary fabric store, is hiring a part-time Live Shopping Host to help bring our fabrics and products to life through live shopping platforms. We’re looking for a creative, high-energy personality who knows how to sell on camera while also understanding the behind-the-scenes strategy that makes live shopping successful. Position Details: Part-time: ~9–12 hours per week $50+/hour In-store position at our Union Square location Responsibilities: Host live shopping events (primarily TikTok Live, but also explore platforms such as Instagram Live, YouTube Live Shopping, Amazon Live, and Facebook Live). Showcase and sell fabrics, trims, and sewing-related products in an engaging way that builds audience trust and drives sales. Create a consistent live shopping calendar and work with our team to plan themes, product drops, and promotions. Track performance and adapt strategies to maximize engagement and sales. Requirements (do not apply unless you meet these): Prior sales experience (retail, online, or live shopping). Deep understanding of TikTok’s algorithm and how to build audiences and engagement on live video. Knowledge of fabrics and sewing-related products (experience with textiles, design, or fashion retail is a major plus). Strong on-camera presence, with the ability to sell and entertain simultaneously. Ability to brainstorm and execute creative ideas that resonate with online audiences.
