Kumon Math & Reading center is the world's largest supplemental educational program, has an immediate part-time Junior Kumon Reading tutor opening at Kumon of Milpitas-Park Victoria. Work hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Friday from 3 to 7 pm and Saturday 10 to 1:00 pm. Duties including working with children and grading papers. Teaching experience of Phonics to Kindergarten age students preferred. Kumon Math and reading programs help children master those fundamental skills so important to their overall academic performance.

You should be an experienced driver yourself, with the ability to exhibit patience and follow the rules of law enforcement. Candidates should meet the following requirements: * A Licensed Driving Instructor in the State of California thru DMV with a clean CA Driver's License. * At least 25-years old. * Strong people skills with an interest to instruct teens and adults. * High school diploma or GED equivalent required. * Valid CA Driver's License and clean driving record. * Smartphone (iOS or Android) * Successfully pass background and drug test. * Pass a physical exam. * Have reliable transportation. Responsibilities: * Teach practical driving skills * Provide direction on the rules of the road * Assist students in developing confidence * Gain control of the vehicle during emergency situations * Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Whose car do I use for driving lessons? We provide a company car for all driving lessons and cover all gas, travel and Maintenace expense. All cars equipped with dual brake system. How Do Driving Instructors Get Paid? You will be paid hourly. Your pay is based on the number of hours you spend providing students hands-on driving experience. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for literacy, a strong understanding of language development, and a proven ability to teach both reading and writing. This teacher will provide targeted reading instruction to students in grades 2–5 and lead writing instruction—including the mechanics of writing, grammar, and composition—for students in grades 5–8. This role is ideal for an educator who is Orton-Gillingham trained and has experience working with students who have learning differences, including dyslexia, ADHD, ADD, and sensory processing challenges. This individual will work with small groups of students teaching reading three times a week in grades two and three, once a week in grades four and five and focusing in grades five through eight once a week to improve writing skills and develop grammar skills. The position will be 12-15 hours per week.
