Position: Office Administrator (part/time), in Fremont and Milpitas, CA RSM’s unique approach develops critical thinking and has built excellence in math since 1997. The Russian School of Mathematics is looking to hire a part-time Office Administrator in our Fremont and Milpitas, CA locations. The school operates from 3:30 pm to 8:30 pm on weekdays 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekends. We need office administrator to be available to work on late afternoons during weekdays (2pm-9pm) and on Saturday (10am4pm). The primary responsibility of this position is to provide exceptional customer service, front desk coverage and administrative support to the RSM office and the School Principal. The incumbent will perform a wide range of administrative and general office duties and assist in special projects. Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service via phone and in person to current and prospective clients. Create a welcoming environment for parents and students through adherence to customer service standards. Respond to client inquiries, provide information on the school operations Schedule meetings, maintain records and update the database Assist in scheduling and coordination of RSM events, parents meetings, awards ceremonies, etc. Assist in the office supply inventory/ordering and preparing expense reports for the School Principal and the office Help with special projects as assigned and needed. Qualifications: Highly organized and motivated, ability to multi-task and prioritize in dynamic, fast paced environment Good written and verbal communication skills Professional phone presentation and quick learning skills Strong skills in MS Word and Excel Minimum Associates degree or 1-2 years of office experience Please send your resume and reply to these questions: 1. A senior teacher - mentor will be allocated to work with you and help with any questions regarding our curriculum, methodology, teacher-parent communication, classroom management etc. Responsibilities: Teach Mathematics in K-3, 4-8 or 9-12 grades Work closely with a mentor teacher to develop, plan and execute lessons that reflect RSM curriculum and teaching methods Provide a safe environment conducive to learning Help students understand the structure of mathematics and develop mathematical competence Motivate each student to apply mathematical understanding and skills in the solution of practical problems Promote key critical reasoning skills as well as social and emotional growth Evaluate the academic and social growth of students Communicate with parents by maintaining records of academic performance, attendance and social acclimation Communicate with school managers to discuss the students’ progress and classroom atmosphere Attend training sessions organized by RSM.
