We are seeking a passionate Dance Instructor/instructors in Hip Hop and Creative Movement to join our team starting our Fall 2025. The candidate needs to enjoy working with children/teens/adults in a diverse background and enjoy an environment with various art forms. Duties: - Develop and implement age-appropriate dance lessons - Instruct students on proper dance techniques and routines - Create a positive and inclusive learning environment - Provide feedback to students to help them improve their skills - Foster Creativity and develop choreography for recitals - Collaborate with other instructors to plan performances - Stay current on trends in dance education and incorporate new styles into lessons or interested in continuing education experiences -Some admin duties Requirements: - BFA in Dance preferred or extensive dance experience - Must have reliable transportation - Must be self-reliable and self-motivated - Able to work well with beginner through advance levels. - Previous experience working with children and teens is preferred. - Knowledge of childhood development principles or willingness to learn. - Ability to educate and engage students effectively or willingness to learn - Familiarity with theater or the performance arts a plus - Computer skills/knowledge This position offers the opportunity to inspire young and older dancers, contribute to their artistic growth, and be part of a creative team dedicated to providing quality dance education. Job description: The role of the teaching assistant is to build connected relationships with the children and support developmentally appropriate activities in this play-based preschool program; in collaboration with the lead teacher, director, and/or other staff. Hours and Days: Starts soon for Monday through Friday from 8:20 am to 1:30pm and Friday from 8:30am to 2pm. Occasionally, there may be a request to extend hours, but this is rare.
