Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required for lead role). Minimum 2 years of classroom experience in an early childhood setting. Strong knowledge of child development and early learning standards. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to lead a team with positivity, professionalism, and collaboration. Passion for nurturing children’s growth and fostering a love for learning. Join us to work with kids and aircraft at the Hiller Aviation Museum! The Flight Sim Instructor is responsible for delivering programs and helping operate and maintain the museum’s Flight Sim Zone, primarily on weekends but also during select weekday holiday periods. Employees with more advanced flying skills may also be assigned for operation of the museum’s FMX full-motion flight simulator. Flight Sim Instructors must be available to work weekend shifts 10:45 AM – 3:15 PM, most Saturdays and Sundays and select holidays. Assists in training of volunteers and staff in Flight Sim Zone and FMX operations as needed. Requirements Flight Simulator Instructors must be 18 years or older and have: - Experience working with families and children. - Excellent communications skills, professional demeanor and customer-oriented approach. - Solid computer skills and familiarity with Flight Simulator products. - Some knowledge of aviation and an interest in learning about aviation. - Actual pilot experience a plus, but not required.
