Track and compare planned vs. actual time and cost results and make recommendations to correct either positive or negative variances. Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing. This position requires expertise in mechanical systems design, analysis, and implementation in compliance with local and federal regulations. Requirements Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in federal projects. Strong knowledge of HVAC design, plumbing systems, and fire protection systems. Responsibilities and Duties Inspect and monitor on-site processes, procedures, and systems for compliance with construction drawings, security requirements, and code compliance. Lead construction management and owner’s representative duties across multiple projects. Provide on-site construction management duties during mobilization, site preparation, construction, fit-out, commissioning and occupancy phases. Provide support in project planning, procurement, design, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects. Interface with clients to define project requirements. Review schedule and align project work plan and deadlines with requirements. Lead and manage the construction quality assurance process. Coordinate and monitor the completion of activities in all phases of the project life cycle. Monitor and oversee the project design or construction effort, to include but not limited to risk management, security and safety compliance, etc. Conduct comprehensive reviews of construction submittals and construction contract documents. Provide project administration and contract administration duties, including records management.  Generate well organized professional deliverables, including daily field reports. CCNP Enterprise or CCIE certification (current or expired within the last 3 years). 3+ years of experience with F5 Load Balancing setups, including iRules. Extensive experience with routing protocols and network technologies . Proficiency in troubleshooting complex network issues, including hardware, L3/L2 problems, application connectivity, and P2P VPN connections. Experience with PIM, MSDP, Anycast-RP, and Multicast in a manufacturing environment. Strong customer focus, a sense of ownership, urgency, responsibility for network documentation, and a passion for mentoring team members. Must reside within a 1-hour drive of Taylor, TX. Willing and able to commute to the office 5 days per week. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting networks in large manufacturing environments, particularly within a 24/7 operational context. Expertise in high availability network environments. Strong background in server network connectivity (Teaming, VPC, LACP). Experience with Packet Capture Analysis, SSL certificates. F5 Load Balancers or Palo Alto Firewalls certification, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience. Familiarity with Unix/Linux and scripting in Python, Ansible, or other automation tools is a plus.
