If you are interested in remote or hybrid opportunities, this position may not be suitable for you. What You'll Do: You will start as a Full Stack Software Engineer for Zealthy, joining a team of 5 full-time engineers who are currently working at Zealthy and you will also collaborate closely with the Founder / CEO (who oversees product). You will move quickly to iterate on the existing, early product build to make sure the product is ready to scale to users to transform access to high-quality healthcare. You will work in person and participate in daily standup meetings, weekly sprint meetings(or a more fluid Kanban process), and hold yourself accountable to an aggressive product development roadmap. We are an early-stage startup and oftentimes that comes with wearing many hats, which means working across front-end and back-end as well as potentially participating in or leading system architecture or DevOps decision-making. As the organization scales, you will have the opportunity to scale into a leadership role if your performance is strong and you wish to become a leader. This will not need to be decided on Day 1, and will be an evolving conversation between you and the existing leader(s) on the team. Requirements 1+ year experience in an engineering position at early-stage high-growth startup. It is preferred that you have 1-5 years of experience. It is preferred that you graduated from a top 25 university OR graduated from college with a GPA above 3.7. Experienced in Typescript and able to accommodate a modern tech stack. Job Summary: Company designs and fabricates steel structures for the electrical transmission and traffic intersection markets. The Design Engineer – Structural – is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely completion of structural engineering deliverables for both industries. All work must be performed consistent with company mission and values and adherence to company policies and procedures. Responsibilities: Participate in the development and maintenance of the Engineering Standards. Prepare design of structural components for electrical power line and traffic intersection steel structures. Complete engineering calculations and analysis of structures. Interprets contract documents, drawings, job work orders and customer specifications for structure requirements. Ensuring deliverables with required engineering details that meet organization standards and customer standards as applicable. Ensure completion of engineering deliverables per the project schedule. Participate in internal & external design reviews. Provide technical guidance as required. Perform hands-on work with electrical systems, including wiring, PLC programming, VFDs, and automation controls. Conduct service calls both onsite and via phone to support customer needs. Perform inspections, testing, and repairs to meet UL(Underwriters Laboratories) and safety standards. Work with pumps and pumping systems, including rotary lobe, diaphragm, and progressive cavity pumps. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to understand system design and troubleshoot problems effectively.  Provide technical support in the areas of automation controls, and industrial equipment. Document service activities and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams. Requirements 3–5 years of field service or electrical controls experience. Associate degree in a technical field, military experience, or equivalent work experience. Strong background in electrical controls and automation. Familiarity with UL (Underwriters Laboratories) standards and certifications to govern controls. Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and basic hand tools. Knowledge of pump systems is strongly preferred Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Willingness to travel up to 60%.
