The Senior Quality Engineer, Software will have continuous involvement and participation with the development teams to design, build, and test software products and underlying components. Review, verify and validate requirements, designs, and functionality of software. Support the development, execution and maintenance of test plans. The Senior Quality Engineer will verify test plans are executed as written and all test activities are documented appropriately in the final reports, including documenting all defects identified during the testing. They will assist development with identifying trends in the reported defect data, debugging problems and developing new test automation solutions as needed. . Ensure all designs are fully compliant with relevant GMP, FDA, and ISO requirements specific to long-term implantable medical devices. Product design experience for implantable medical devices. Experience with design, development, and manufacturing transfer of implantable drug delivery devices or other active implant systems. A proven track record in meeting clinical and regulatory requirements. Deep understanding of GMP and regulatory demands of implantable devices (including design history files, design controls, risk management). High-level proficiency in design for manufacturability, specifically for products requiring robustness in vivo, sterilization compatibility, and miniaturization. In this role, you will function as a technical bridge between our Digital Product Owners and our Regional Engineering team focused on solving our client’s business problems in the areas of Performance, Reliability and Availability. On a day-to-day basis, process control engineers spend 75% of their time in the back office on project related activities while the other 25% will be spent onsite testing and/or directing our client’s operational team (process control engineers work 9-to-5 on a full-time basis).
