Northstrat is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Front-End Software Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in front-end development, bringing a wealth of knowledge in multiple programming languages and frameworks. This role demands a self-starter who can take vaguely defined tasks and independently deliver high-quality solutions.  Requirements Must have at least 8 plus years of relevant experience with a master’s in computer science, or 10 plus years of relevant experiencewith a bachelor’s in computer science.    Must be U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a government clearance no exception.    Must be proficient in JavaScript frameworks including React, Angular, and Node.js (Front-End Development).   Proficient in developing and supporting production systems that run on Amazon Web Services (AWS).   Strong understanding and experience working with data structures.   Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.   Must be a self-starter that can work independently as well as with a team.  Proficient in designing and implementing comprehensive unit and integration tests.    Preferred Qualifications  Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Java, C++, Rust, or advanced Python (Back-End Development).    Tangible experience designing, programming, and implementing large complex systems.    Experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Jest.  Benefits Work/Life Balance Northstrat values true work life balance. Although project requirements may dictate schedules, a Northstrat employee is only required to work an average of 8 hours per weekday over the course of a month. For example: John worked 12 hours on June 1st to meet a project deadline. On June 15th, John only worked 4 hours because he left early for a long weekend. John’s IBA was not debited for time off because flex time allowed him to carry over those 4 hours from June 1st. That is, of the 50% accrual in the IBA, half of the amount accrued is applied to the PSP. Stock Options Because Northstrat is an employee-owned company, all new employees are offered stock options. Technical Writer & Editor Location: Arlington, VA Must have an active Top Secret Clearance Must  be able to work on-site 0800-1630 M-F Node is supporting a U.S. Government customer to provide support for onsite incident response to civilian Government agencies and critical asset owners who experience cyber-attacks, providing immediate investigation and resolution. Contract personnel perform investigations to characterize of the severity of breaches, develop mitigation plans, and assist with the restoration of services.  Node is seeking a Technical Writer to support this critical customer mission. Responsibilities: - Developing and reviewing technical communications deliverables including cybersecurity documentation, operational procedures, plans, action reports, and meeting minutes, coordinating with Incident Management teams to obtain necessary input data. - Preparing, reviewing, editing, and maintaining program technical documents, standard operation procedures, work instructions, CONOPS, and internal team messaging. - Maintaining statistical diagrams and charts of team engagement reports. - Must  be able to work on-site 0800-1630 M-F Requirements Required Skills: - U.S. Citizenship.  - Must have an active TS/SCI. - Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability. - 5+ years of technical writing experience including developing cybersecurity communications deliverables such as documentation, plans, action reports, and meeting minutes for internal and external audiences. - Experience with creating and maintaining government records associated with cybersecurity activities, documentation, and SOPs. - Excellent hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Products, and GSuite. - Fluid technical writing and editing skills, including the use of AP Style and/ or government agency directed style guides. - Ability to work with technical cyber analysts to evaluate material and break it down into concise, compelling narrative that engages the reader. - Ability to work under pressure with engagement leads, technical analysts, and subject matter experts in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment to ensure timely product release. Desired Skills: - Familiarity with cybersecurity communications terminology, concepts, and subject matter. - Experience with creating technical briefings including executive leadership briefings. - Understanding of different communication styles and formats Required Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in English, Business or related, or 5+ years technical writing and editing experience with a high school diploma Desired Certifications: - Sec+, ITILv4 Company Overview: Node.Digital is an independent Digital Automation & Cognitive Engineering company that integrates best-of-breed technologies to accelerate business impact.
