Kentro is hiring a Journeyman Full Stack Application Developer will provide software development and sustainment support to the USSOCOM J6 Budget Tool. The developer will design, code, test, and maintain enterprise-level applications to ensure availability, reliability, and performance. The position requires demonstrated expertise in both front-end and back-end development using Angular, .NET, C#, SQL Server, and Windows Services. The developer will work as part of a cross-functional team in support of mission-critical financial systems, ensuring compliance with DoD standards, USSOCOM requirements, and cybersecurity policies. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain application features in support of the USSOCOM J6 Budget Tool. Implement responsive front-end interfaces using Angular. Develop back-end services and APIs using .NET and C#. Design, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures. Develop and maintain Windows Services for workflow automation and system integration. Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing. Ensure applications adhere to DoD cybersecurity and secure coding standards. Support lifecycle management activities including requirements gathering, design documentation, deployment, and sustainment. Collaborate with government stakeholders, business analysts, and other developers to meet mission needs. Location: On-site in Tampa, FL Requirements Required Qualifications: DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP). Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience. 3–7 years of experience as an application developer (Journeyman level). Demonstrated experience with: Angular (front-end development) .NET and C# (back-end development) SQL Server (database development and optimization) Windows Services (design and maintenance) Experience with Agile software development methodologies. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with USSOCOM or DoD financial systems. Knowledge of DevSecOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks. Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services. Familiarity with PowerApps/ O365 Environment a plus. Experience working within DISA STIGs, RMF, and DoD cybersecurity compliance frameworks. Key Duties and Responsibilities: General Operations Support production staff when technical issues arise, perform root-cause analysis on said issues, and implement quality solutions in a timely manner. Research, build business case, and implement capital expenditures to improve operational efficiencies in a manufacturing environment. Develop and recommend new processes and technologies to improve product quality and cost-effectiveness. Follow established manufacturing techniques and operating equipment specifications, identifying process improvements and resolution to issues where possible. Participate in providing technical direction, training, and certification for operators performing detailed process steps to ensure that production assemblers, testers, inspectors, and support staff have necessary skills, appropriate documentation, tooling, and process control capability. Participate in the qualification and development of suppliers for components, sub-assemblies, and processes. Support non-conforming material reports (NMR) and corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) processes. Test Systems Develop and build test environments and test cases for manufacturing mechanical and electrical systems. Develop test plans and strategies based on regulatory requirements, industry standards, and product specifications. Design and execute test protocols to evaluate the performance, functionality, and safety of medical devices.
