Office/Scale House Operator Number of Openings: 1 Minimum Age: 18 Minimum Education: GED, High School Diploma or, Equivalent Hours per Week: NEGOTIABLE Job Type: Temporary from approximately 09/12/25 thru 10/31/25 Chapin Dehydrating, LLC is looking for someone to work in our facility to handle Administrative Duties and operate our Scale House for the upcoming hazelnut harvest. Primary Duties: * Serve a first point of contact for farmers and truck drivers delivering hazelnuts * Greets customers and answers questions accurately * Direct Traffic to avoid bottlenecks * Ensures truck scales are operating appropriately * Record incoming and outgoing weights correctly * Completes all administrative tasks including regular filing and complete required reports * Keep supervisor fully informed of all problems or matters requiring his/her attention * Data entry to record accurate delivery and product information Desired Skills: * Experience tracking inventory * Good Customer Service * Able to work in a fast paced environment * Safety Focused * Detail Oriented and Well Organized * Understanding of basic mathematic concepts * Must be able to use computers to enter, access, and retrieve data * Ten-key by touch * Excellent written, verbal, and texting communication skills * Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft Excel in particular * Experience processing records and maintaining forms and files * This is not an independent job; applicant must be able to communicate and work well with other team members in order to accurately and safely accomplish goals Physical Requirements: * Required to sit, hear, talk, use close and distance vision * Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc.) * Required to exert physical effort handling objects weighing less than 30 pounds occasionally * Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements part of the work day. Land Tech / Document Retrieval Specialist Needed - Casper Area This position involves traveling to the Natrona County Recorder's Office to locate and retrieve requested documents via microfiche using provided reception numbers. Once located, the technician is responsible for printing the requested documents and then scanning and saving the documents by reception number them into our internal server/document management system. The role plays a vital part in maintaining accurate and accessible land records for our group. Data entry can become a part of this position as well. Job Description: Visit the Natrona County Recorder's office to access microfilmed documents. First round of documents are those filed of record in about 10 different sections/parcels. Next tranche, another 10 parcels. If we work well together we will increase the pay $25 a day to $300. (starting pay can be higher with land tech experience). Focus on documents recorded between the years 1978 and 2001 within designated tracks of each section. Qualifications: Experience as a Land Tech or Land Man is helpful but not required. Ability to work independently and accurately.
