What You'll Do: Address patient billing inquiries and collaborate with the Billing and Medicaid Office for issue resolution Inform patients on billing and payment practices, provide account details and balance information Discuss medical insurance options, eligibility, and Managed Care plans with clients Assist clients with insurance application process, track applications, and provide guidance on benefits Educate clients on medical insurance coverage, help resolve card-related issues Manage daily work queues for insurance, discounts, and Medicaid processing Evaluate and process hardship or write-off requests, maintain billing adjustments Stay updated on Managed Care and Medicaid program changes and updates May perform Lead duties by acting as a liaison between line staff and the direct supervisor. Manage breaks, lunches, sick calls, and overtime. Provide insights to leaders regarding the skill level and performance of the employees. Responsible for providing training to new employees and existing staff when needed. Performs quality audits as directed. Qualifications: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) One year's experience with billing credit or patient benefits, preferably in a medical office, is required; Experience in special programs such as State Managed Care plans is preferred Affordable Care Act (ACA) Certification: Must pass the ACA exam within 90 days of employment Bilingual (English/Spanish) required at a level 9 Ability to prioritize work and handle various tasks simultaneously, with frequent interruptions Ability to build effective relationships and interact professionally with patients, providers, and staff Basic proficiency with Electronic Medical Records, Word, and Excel Basic knowledge of medical terminology and medical billing insurance is desired Our Mission Statement “Together we transform our communities through compassionate, individualized care, eliminating barriers to health and well-being.” Our mission celebrates inclusivity. Land Tech / Document Retrieval Specialist Needed - Casper Area This position involves traveling to the Natrona County Recorder's Office to locate and retrieve requested documents via microfiche using provided reception numbers. Once located, the technician is responsible for printing the requested documents and then scanning and saving the documents by reception number them into our internal server/document management system. The role plays a vital part in maintaining accurate and accessible land records for our group. Data entry can become a part of this position as well. Job Description: Visit the Natrona County Recorder's office to access microfilmed documents. First round of documents are those filed of record in about 10 different sections/parcels. Next tranche, another 10 parcels. If we work well together we will increase the pay $25 a day to $300. (starting pay can be higher with land tech experience). Focus on documents recorded between the years 1978 and 2001 within designated tracks of each section. Qualifications: Experience as a Land Tech or Land Man is helpful but not required. Ability to work independently and accurately. Google Drive/Google Sheets/Excel/Box.com - all require Compensation & Schedule: This project is anticipated to take 1-2 weeks initially, depending on the number of documents. Compensation is $275 or $34.38 an hour per 8-hour work day, contingent on the submission of quantified documents that substantiate the time billed.
