Description

United Christian Church, Renton, WA seeks a Church Administrator to manage the administrative operations of our congregation. Duties include, but are not limited to: ● Prepare online and in person communications and documents ● Manage routine property and office tasks ● Create worship-related and other congregational materials ● Assemble and send weekly/monthly newsletter ● Schedule meetings and maintain the church calendar ● Serve as primary building contact for onsite workers, outside groups and general inquiries ● Maintain and update church website and social media ● Maintain confidential records ● Other tasks as assigned. Our ideal candidate will effectively balance mission-driven work with practical administrative considerations. Desired skills include: ● Proficiency with Microsoft suite, Google Docs, Canva, Facebook and WordPress ● Ability to organize and self-direct ● Professional email and phone communication ● Ability to engage respectfully with diverse populations Expectations: 15-20 hours/week. Remote work is negotiable. Compensation: $25/hour Paid time off will be one hour accrued for every 26 hours worked, up to 40 hours of PTO can be carried over to the next calendar year.
