We are looking for someone who has a strong background in payroll and HR. This role is located in Corte Madera and it is onsite. Job Responsibilities: Payroll: ● Payroll pre-processing: Accurately calculates employee gross pay, withholding taxes (federal, state, local), and other deductions (e.g., health insurance, retirement contributions) ● Payroll Processing: Enters and processes employees hours, wages and deductions into paylocity, ensuring accurate payment of salaries, one-off pay situations and timely pay. ● Data Maintenance: Keeps employee records up-to-date, including salary changes, benefits, tax withholding, and personal information. ● Compliance: Ensures payroll practices adhere to federal, state, and local regulations. Resolves all payroll discrepancies and errors. HR: ● Training: Schedules, coordinates and track required training for new hires and re-training for current employees, file applicable training documents in employee files. ● Onboarding: Onboards all new-hires; tracks process, coordinates paperwork, obtains signatures and completes on board packet, uploads and creates employee profile in Paylocity, Ease. ● Benefits: Assists with new employee enrollment, troubleshooting, employee questions, Open enrollment.
