We’re looking for someone engaging, organized and detail-oriented to help us grow their dream role in the administrative and fulfillment side of our environmentally-focused, gourmet food business. This is a dynamic position, and we recognize that operations positions play a key role in the continued growth of our brand voice. THE ROLE 20-40 hours weekly, flexible scheduling 9am-3pm (Monday-Thursday minimum) No nights or weekends required $17.00/hour starting pay (negotiable depending on experience, pay increase after first 3 months) WHAT YOU'LL DO Work directly with our sales team and founder to execute organized and thoughtful execution on the fulfillment/warehouse side of our sales process Act as a connecting point between our external follow through and internal systems by developing strong communications with teammates, understanding that our operations are our follow through as a brand! Package and Process online orders for wholesale and D2C purchases (Shopify, Faire, Amazon) with care and attention Maintain a sharp oversight of our internal inventory management Develop vendor relationships and supply ordering with a focus on like-minded suppliers Book shipping and transportation for our nationwide network of sustainable stockists Offer regular input and ownership with regard to the fulfillment and operational side of the Saffi Saana customer experience Update website content to reflect current information and product availability on an ongoing basis Assist with packaging operations as needed to ensure swift response time on orders placed through all sales channels Respond to customer inquiries with a balance of care and professionalism, before coordinating inquiry to the proper team channel Pitch in with various tasks outside your regular duties – we all wear multiple hats here WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Kindness and curiosity about sustainability and healthy food systems An organizational team player who leads through empowerment, clear communication and education Comfort with technology as well as hands-on activities Familiarity with Shopify and Faire platforms is a plus (but we're happy to train the right person) Proficiencies in Microsoft Office and Google Suite Passionate about attention to detail and pride in presentation Acts with integrity and seeks to find their fit in growing a position with a beloved national brand at the intersection of fine foods and environmental wellbeing Contributes to a workplace culture of mutual respect and collaboration Maintains a sense of balance between self care and strong work ethic Meets challenges with compassion and solution-based thinking Reliable with strong follow-through Good communication skills (written and verbal) Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a team (position includes 2-3 days per week of solo office/warehouse management) ABOUT US We're a minority, woman-owned business providing high-quality, sustainable oils and vinegars.
