Small, fast-paced law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeping Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and support the overall accounting functions of the organization. This role is essential for ensuring the integrity of financial data and will involve various bookkeeping tasks.. Duties Utilize accounting software to manage financial data efficiently. Assist in managing accounts receivable, including preparing and distributing monthly statements and tracking payments. Facilitate and process credit card payments. Assist in managing accounts payable, including issuing payments to clients and vendors. Skills Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills are required. In person, phone, and email. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively. Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
