Mark III Construction is currently seeking a Journeyman HVAC Technician for the Bay Area. This Journeyman HVAC Technician will be responsible for servicing and installing heating and air conditioning systems to industry standards while providing the customer with a high quality experience DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers Install, troubleshoot and repair HVAC units and heat pumps Troubleshoot malfunctioning HVAC systems to determine the cause of the malfunction Perform scheduled maintenance inspections and adjust, clean and calibrate various systems to assure proper system operation Repair wiring and electronic components associated with automated building management systems Replace expansion valves, compressors, motors, coil units and other component parts Check distribution systems for proper velocity, volume, temperature, pressure, etc. Determine the cause of, and correct, condensation problems Prepare records and reports describing procedures, actions taken and recommended solutions Prepare and submit requests for supplies and equipment Complete all paperwork in a timely manner including invoices, quote requests and weekly timesheets. Respond to emergency service requests Willingness to travel and work overtime, when necessary Follow all pertinent rules and regulations, guidelines, safety orders, departmental operating procedures and safety regulations to ensure that work is performed in compliance with applicable law. Maintain all company tools, equipment, and company vehicle. This is a seasonal, on-call position with non-traditional hours, often overnight or early morning shifts during and following snow or ice events. Position Summary: As a Snow Removal Equipment Operator, you will operate machinery such as skid steers, front-end loaders, and other snow equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and loading areas at commercial sites. You must be available on short notice and comfortable working in challenging weather conditions.
