Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician, required Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT), preferred Previous experience in specialty and/or emergency veterinary medicine, preferred Strong knowledge of veterinary medical protocols and procedures Excellent technical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle and restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities Flexibility with working schedule, including availability for on-call, weekend shifts and holidays.
