2006 Ford E 250 van 4WD converted by Advanced 4x4 in Salt Lake City, Utah 3 years ago. Van was bought and used for transporting family and dogs to AZ through the Rockies and back in all kinds of weather. Keeping the Braun lift in the van was great as it was used for buying/removing appliances, a big backup generator, tools, building supplies all without having to hoist these into the van. I just lowered the lift and rolled heavy items on and off with ease. The lift holds up to 800lbs and once or twice I may have exceeded that weight with no issues. The E250 has the bigger 5.4 Triton motor with really low mileage and the larger 38 gallon gas tank. It had a full alignment done two weeks ago because Colorado roads like I-70 are treacherous on vehicles. It has front and back A/C and heat and not much more. I don’t like all that electronic stuff because it is too expensive to replace and my arms work just fine for rolling the windows up and down. Two months ago I got the A/C repaired and recharged for the summer and it should last for several years blowing icy cold. The van can seat 9 people plus driver or transport 3 wheelchairs and 3 passengers plus driver. This could be a great business opportunity for a builder/roofer/painter to bring your crew and supplies, or for Uber/Lyft or medical transportation. It would also make a nice camper as I have thought about removing the high top and replacing it with a pop top for camping. The gas mileage varies depending on driving habits and gas grade. When I drive at 75 mph using cheap 85 grade gas, I get 14.5-15 mpg. When other half drives at 85 mph, lead-foot lady gets 12 mpg. This van is very basic, no p/w, no p/l, no power mirrors, no cruise control and the basic factory am/fm radio. I do have a new radio to update with Bluetooth/multimedia and a dash install kit, but I never got around to installing it. It will go with this sale. Tires have about 12k miles on them and are still in great shape. The full sized spare is brand new and matching to the 3-Mountain rated Yokohamas currently on this van. I also installed a class III trailer hitch from U-Haul and have towed only one time. Towing capacity is 7500 lbs, but without a brake controller, that much weight going down mountains is scary and may require a change in underwear for the faint of heart. I hate to sell my beastie, but it is not really being used like I hoped it would be. All glass is good, new mirrors, and ridiculously bright headlights for seeing on dark roads. There is some surface rust in areas, so please don’t expect perfection. It’s a 19 year old vehicle that can still easily exceed 90 mph if one is brave enough. Everything is in working order and no dash lights on. You can bring a code reader and check it out if you like. If you are interested, call or text Suzanne at 6three1-78six-2five54. Do not ask me to get a specific company vehicle history because that’s what you want/need. I will gladly give you the VIN and you can use any company you like. I used the Insurance Bureau database and Carfax to check and there is no history of theft or salvage. Do not ask/send google codes. If you like this van, it will be cash only or bank transfer at my bank during business hours. If you have other questions I will be happy to answer. If you harass me trying to coerce or sell me services you suggest, I will hang up. I do not need help selling and I am not in a rush to sell. Thank you for viewing.
