SUMMARY: Drives diesel powered tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver swine by performing the following duties. Drives truck to farm. Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits DVIR indicating truck condition. Completes all necessary paper work for accounting purposes. Valid Class A CDL Good driving record Benefits Insurance coverage will begin on the first day of the month after you have been employed for 60 days. Effective June 1, 2022, premiums will be based on the Health Care Plan that you choose. The cost will be as follows: Weekly Premiums for: Employee Only12.00 CDHP 35.00 Traditional Employee & Spouse 31.00 CDHP 90.00 Traditional Employee & Child(ren) 24.00 CDHP 70.00 Traditional Family 36.00 CDHP 105.00 Traditional Your cost for Group Dental Insurance is currently $4.90 per week for single coverage or $15.36 per week for family coverage. Both the Health and Dental Insurances are pre-tax. The company pays the balance of the insurance premiums. Your cost for Group Vision Insurance is currently $1.77 per week for single coverage or $3.81 per week for family coverage. Life insurance coverage will begin on the first day of the month after you have been employed for 60 days. The amount of the policy is $15,000.00. The company pays 100% of the life insurance policy. Principal in the form of a letter will offer you the opportunity to join the 401K retirement plan on or around your anniversary date. The maximum you can contribute is 50% of your gross salary. The company will match 100% of the first 2% you contribute. The vacation year is defined as your anniversary year. Vacation days are taken after each year(s) anniversary award date with the following schedule: Employment Anniversary Amount of vacation One and 2 years One week Three to nine years Two weeks Ten or more years Three weeks Prestage Farms of Iowa, Inc. grants seven holidays per year. They are: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. You must be employed 60 days to get paid for a holiday. If you are required to work on a holiday after the 60-day probationary period you will receive both the holiday pay and pay for the hours you worked.
