Candidates hired for full-time night positions will receive a 7500k sign-on bonus, and full-time day positions will receive 5000k sign-0n. Our RN's are responsible for delivering quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients who are hospitalized for treatment of psychiatric or emotional disorders, supporting the hospital and program philosophy of care, and ensure the safety and well-being of each patient by following our clinical guidelines as part of our comprehensive clinical treatment team. We offer 12 hour night shifts from 7pm-7am, and day shift is 7a-7p. Duties include but are not limited to: Provide direct care to patients, which includes facilitating social and emotional needs, supervising medication schedules and evaluating patient progress. Collaborate with a variety of interdisciplinary professionals to determine and provide the best possible care for their patients. Responsible for maintaining a safe environment on the unit. Provide social support for patients by creating and encouraging patients to take advantage of opportunities such as support groups, social activities and other therapeutic measures. Conducts intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives to gather case history. Plans and provides nursing care for patients. Makes nursing diagnosis of the medical and emotional status of patients and recommends treatment options. Consults with psychiatrists and other behavioral health staff in designing appropriate treatment plans for clients. Administers and notes reactions to psychotropic drugs and other medications. Arranges further medical attention when necessary. Assists the client in understanding the nature of emotional disturbances and accepting the need for treatment. Keep accurate written charts and records of patient activities and progress. Comply with laws, rules, regulations, protocols, and procedures. Use professional judgment to ascertain and to apply appropriate intervention techniques with patients in crisis. Assists in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and patients. Test for vital signs of pain and ensures treatments of pain. Documents all patient information on medical charts and follows physician’s written orders. Maintains patient confidentiality. Maintains accurate records and documentation of patient treatments, immunizations and laboratory results according to standard medical record keeping. Performs administrative assignments such as filing, answering phones, typing, and completing progress notes in the computer system. Requirements Education: ADN or BSN from an accredited college or university. Required Licenses: Valid Texas RN license in good standing required. CPR required/BLS certification preferred - candidates are expected to pass a provided CPR course within 30 days of hire. SAMA certification required and candidates are expected to pass our provided class within 30 days of hire. Experience: Minimum of 2 years clinical experience, preferably in a behavioral healthcare setting, phone triage, tele-health or a combination of education and experience. Must be 21 years old or older. USA Clinics Group is growing our Nursing Team! As a Registered Nurse, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient workflow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures – particularly during IR procedures. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience. This is a part-time position located in Orange, NJ. occasional shifts on Tuesdays and Fridays. Responsibilities Ensure smooth daily operations of the cath labs Oversee ordering and inventory of cath lab supplies Willingness to travel among nearby cath lab locations Administer sedition medication under the direction of physician. Schedule and obtain pre certifications for all cath lab patients Act as a liaison to patients with any questions they may have Perform pre and post operative phone calls Work closely with the Operations team Recover patients and assist in the cath lab procedure room as necessary Additional duties as needed.
