Job Summary: The Principal Program Manager is responsible for the delivery and performance of company Products and Services as well as the overall customer relationship. The Principal Program Manager is typically responsible for larger programs and/or key accounts. This role ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to the program from various departments as well as within the department. They will be expected to interface with other departments to prepare cost justifications, recommend priorities, generate schedules and develop solutions to customer issues. This individual ensures all customer accounts under their charge are following all internal company processes for best practices and execution excellence. In addition, the individual in this position will be responsible for developing relationships that lead to repeat business and assisting the Sales Team in acquiring new contracts within their assigned programs. Responsibilities also include aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, coordinating the preparation of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of changes on their assigned programs. This position relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.   Duties and Responsibilities: Act as the senior advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks and operation  Develop solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments and within the department    Daily management of team execution   Daily management of customer   Daily management of the program schedule including modifications to the team and execution strategies    Oversight, creation and maintenance of the program planning worksheets   Daily management of the program suppliers  Act as a key member of the department leadership team, assisting in the mentoring of more junior personnel  Perform other job-related duties as assigned  Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field  15+ years of experience working in a similar role in performance management and/or delivery of company products and services  8+ years of experience managing and delivering complex programs within the aerospace industry  7+ years of experience in a Senior (or above) program management role with demonstrated ability to influence technical direction and contribute to strategic decision-making  Extensive project or program management experience  Experience working with cross-functional groups  Experience working in the In-flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) or relevant industry Benefits The starting pay range for this position is $128,900 - $154,700 per year however, base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
