Execute maintenance on various military aircraft as a Contract Field Team technician Travel for extended periods working at various locations Train on routing aircraft electrical wire harnesses, basic wire terminations and various other maintenance tasks Interpret technical manuals, work cards, blueprints, wire diagrams/schematics, and engineering drawings Maintain shop supplies and perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment Operate complicated shop tools and equipment as trained and assigned Perform inventory control using logging, tagging, and organizing procedures Maintain tool control and accountability Adhere to company policies and safety programs Other duties as assigned This position is contingent upon contract award. Requirements Education/Training: High School diploma required Associate’s Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferred Current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area required Broad working knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance and inspection requirements Knowledgeable in documenting maintenance actions in any of the following (USAF, USN and US Army) aircraft records to include digital maintenance data systems Familiar with the installation of aerospace fasteners, rivets, nut plates etc. Security: Must be a US citizen Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required Successful candidates must obtain minimum favorable Tier 1 personnel security investigation IAW Department of Defense Instruction 5200.46, DoD Investigative and Adjudicative Guidance for Issuing Common Access Card (CAC)

The role requires the individual to support new product introduction, provide quality training, support, and to work collaboratively with various teams to develop standard work and ensure compliance. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The quality technician’s primary responsibility is to positively support the various departments in assuring that the requirements of the customer and quality management system are being met throughout each department. Additionally, the quality technician contributes to the continuous improvement of Almag’s quality system. The duties and responsibilities of the Quality Technician are detailed below, but not limited to the following: Supporting the New Product Introduction process by assuring new customer requirements are understood and achieved. Responsible for performing audits of various departments to ensure that the QMS requirements are being met. Communicate new product status, its performance based on data, and provide samples and feedback to the respective departments with continuous improvement approach in mind. Responsible for collecting samples as required for various customer and internal requirements. The Press Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating the mechanical press, inspecting parts and assembling for quality per blueprints and manufacturing specifications. Loads coil material and threads through roll feed equipment. Makes repairs and preventative maintenance for proper machine care. Maintains operation of parts washer and lube tank. Observes all safety rules. Supports team objectives. Other duties as assigned.
