Maya Photography Studio on W. Houston Street downtown S.A. (San Antonio)

Does anyone know what happened to the Maya Photography Studio located on W. Houston Street in the Prospect Hill neighborhood near downtown? It was a studio that was active between the 1940's and 1960's I believe. If anyone has any info on the business, when it closed, and what happened to the negatives - I'd greatly appreciate it. Am doing a research project on vintage photography studios that operated in San Antonio during mid-century. Thanks!
