The Title Escrow Officer Assistant is responsible for the verification of all file wires as well as preparation of closing seller side documents. Essential Duties Works with Attorneys and Agents in order to provide a seamless closing experience by preparing various items in the file for the closer prior to the closing date. Responsible for verifying seller ID using ClosingLock and Resware. Assists coordinating team by reviewing mortgage payoff statements that do not verify through ClosingLock by contacting lender and following proper procedure in Resware. Enters full data in seller/buyer records Acts as the liaison between attorneys and sellers/buyers prior to closing. Reviews Seller side closing documents to prepare sellers portion of the closing prior to actual closing date. Assists the closing officer with various tasks. Requirements 1-2 years previous title company experience and/or bachelors’ degree or established business background required.
