Bevi is seeking a Sustaining Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional team focused on the ongoing improvement, support, and evolution of our existing products. In this role, you will be the technical driver behind initiatives that improve product reliability, manufacturability, and cost. You'll work closely with teams across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Product to scope problems, develop solutions, and guide changes from concept through implementation. This is a hands-on, technical leadership role for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, can navigate ambiguity, and is passionate about continuous improvement. Your Day to Day Lead the sustaining team in working with Quality, Product, and Manufacturing teams to understand challenges, establish success criteria, and lead investigations for Bevi’s top areas of improvement Support product failure investigations by gathering data and using root cause analysis techniques Work with project managers to clearly communicate status updates, challenges, and timing impacts Guide the team in design reviews, ensuring opportunities, risks, and proposed next steps are clearly communicated and understood  Mentor the team to iterate through designs from benchtop prototypes to manufacturing ready models Ensure 3D CAD and 2D drawings for manufacturing are properly implemented into Bevi’s PLM system Work with suppliers to improve designs and initiate process changes Keep multiple projects moving, prioritizing resourcing and requirements accordingly Help the team develop and execute tests to prove performance, reduce risk, and build product reliability Provide guidance to the new product development team on new designs to ensure reliability and cost targets are met Requirements 8+ years of relevant experience in product design, sustaining engineering, or manufacturing support, including at least 2 years in a leadership or project ownership role Ability to mentor and grow a team of highly capable engineers Skilled SOLIDWORKS user, with experience working collaboratively in large assemblies, and creating toleranced 2D part and assembly drawings (experience with GD&T a plus) Professional experience designing for various manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, and casting.
