NOTE: This is specific to Active Duty personnel interested in SkillBridge and located or relocating to the Tampa, FL area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: During this program the service member will be on-site at his or her host company performing an individual internship in an entry to mid-level career type role. The service member will be on the job training supporting a work schedule equivalent to 40hrs per week.  Our Military Internship Program is open to all ranks and experience levels. SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from Paragon, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members.  Outlined below are the Goals, Objectives, and Outcomes for the program. Goals – Provide transitioning service members fellowship-style job skills training during the last portion(s) of their military commitment. This program is specifically designed to offer internships that result in the potential to transition to a full-time opportunity at the conclusion of the training. Objectives - Service Members who complete the Intern program will be highly-trained, capable, future employees that align to the specific needs of the organization on Day 1. This program provides a comprehensive internship experience including professional development, networking with leadership, and training specifically focused on Paragon leadership principles, company history, customer/stakeholder engagement, product and service overview, and core job responsibilities. Outcome – Position transitioning service member for a successful military transition into the civilian workforce. Requirements DoD SkillBridge Eligibility: Has served at least 180 days on active duty Is within 12 months of separation or retirement Will receive an honorable discharge Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months Received Unit Commander (first O-4/Field Grade commander in chain of command) written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to start of internship. Other skills and experience may be required or preferred, depending on the area or role. *** This role is contingent upon Contract Award*** The Registration Authority (RA) is responsible for managing and processing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) credentials within the Department of Defense (DoD) environment. Operate and manage PKI issuance systems to process requests for Common Access Cards (CACs), SIPRNet tokens, and software/hardware-based certificates. Maintain Registration Authority Workstations (RAWs), ensuring compliance with DISA STIGs, operational readiness, and audit tracking. Issue, revoke, renew, or suspend digital certificates in coordination with the Certificate Authority (CA). Maintain complete and accurate logs, audit records, and documentation of all PKI transactions. Coordinate with Local Registration Authorities (LRAs), Trusted Agents (TAs), ISSOs, and Network/System Administrators to support user access and credential delivery. Respond to user requests and troubleshoot PKI-related issues including certificate chain validation and smart card/token problems. Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, performing self-assessments, and remediating findings. Enforce policies to protect sensitive information and cryptographic materials in accordance with DoD cybersecurity standards. Requirements Active Secret clearance. 3–5 years of experience in PKI operations, cybersecurity, or identity management, with specific experience as a Registration Authority or related role. Working knowledge of the DoD PKI infrastructure, including roles of CA, RA, LRA, KRA, and Trusted Agents. Familiarity with hardware token management (e.g., SIPR tokens), smart card readers, middleware, and PKI tools such as Entrust or ActivIdentity. In-depth understanding of DoDI 8520.02, CNSSI 1300, CNSSI 4005/4006, and NIST SP 800-63-3. Ability to manage sensitive information, maintain accountability of digital credentials, and ensure strict adherence to federal policy. DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required (e.g., Security+ CE). Preferred Qualifications: Completion of official DoD RA or PKI Operations training. Experience operating RA Workstations and associated PKI support tools in SIPRNet environments. Familiarity with eMASS, STIG Viewer, and other cybersecurity compliance tools.
