O’Hagan Meyer is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join its Philadelphia, PA office. This is an ideal opportunity for an attorney looking to handle a wide-range of labor & employment matters involving cutting-edge topics and sophisticated, interesting clients. This attorney will join a diverse practice group that handles single plaintiff employment litigation, and wage & hour class litigation. O’Hagan Meyer is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements 2+ years experience handling all aspects of complex & sophisticated litigation, including defending employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, wrongful termination and/or negligent hiring. Experience drafting pleadings, substantive motions and written discovery; developing litigation strategy; conducting large-scale document reviews and productions; working directly with clients; communicating with opposing counsel; and second-chairing trials, depositions and/or evidentiary hearings. Excellent writing and analytical skills as well as the ability to draft persuasive, clear and effective pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, mediation statements, orders and settlement agreements. Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to efficiently manage multiple matters at once and produce exceptional work product under tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have the confidence and demeanor to build relationships with the Firm’s current clients, as well as the drive and ability to develop additional client relationships and business.
