Job Summary The Systems Administrator (CSE II) is responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and operations across multiple subsystems. This is a hands-on role that requires deep technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead projects and work independently in a task-oriented, schedule driven environment. This is a represented staff position with the IBEW Union. Requirements Required Minimum Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required, plus two years’ experience or a Master’s Degree in Engineering and one year of relevant experience. Required Skills, Qualifications, Technical Experience, Certifications, etc.: Experience working with Windows Server 2019/2022, Windows 10/11, Microsoft AD and GPO, RHEL 8/9, Ubuntu 18-24 LTS, SQL, VMware. Prior experience with Splunk/ELK, BigFix, Tenable, smart card auth, or other gov/regulated environments. Experienced with performing patch and vulnerability management. Experienced with troubleshooting applications and end user device issues, servers, and databases. Familiar with networking concepts to include, but not limited to, VLANs, firewalls, subnets, DNS, and IPv4. Familiar with Azure/AWS/Google cloud computing concepts. Experience with device configuration and installations such as desktops, servers, DC’s, PDU’s, UPS, etc. Experience working with PowerShell, Backup solutions, Maximo, ServiceNow. Familiar with automation tools. Experience with Microsoft Windows OS, and Linux Experience with SIEM, and flaw remediation tools.
