We are working with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to address the backlog of these exams, and there are currently a considerable number of exams available in your area. These Medical Disability Exams are crucial in the VA process for determining the benefits Veterans can receive because of service-connected health issues. Our ideal candidate is Anesthesia trained and has experience in interventional Pain Management procedures. This position has high upside potential with on-target earnings of $750k/year plus ownership track into ASC in 2 years’ time. Leveraging a robust background in anesthesia, the Pain Management Physician will also be responsible for developing and implementing effective pain management strategies, which include both non-surgical and surgical approaches to care. Duties of the Position Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment to patients experiencing chronic and acute pain. Use a patient-focused approach to identify the source of pain, define the intensity and duration, and implement suitable pain management strategies. Use interventional procedures, including but not limited to spinal injections, nerve blocks, and/or minimally invasive surgery to manage pain. Leverage knowledge in anesthesia to manage pain pre-, during, and post-surgery. Work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals like physiotherapists, psychologists, and nurses to create multidisciplinary patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on pain management strategies, potential side effects, and risk factors involved. Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in pain management and anesthesia. Dane Street is expanding our physician panel!  Dane Street is an Independent Review Organization and a national provider of Independent Medical Exams (IMEs), among other offerings, and we are expanding our physician panel resulting in opportunities for non-traditional physician work and supplemental income.   We have a need to add Washington licensed physician advisors to support L&I Independent Medical Exams.  This opportunity is for conducting in-person IMEs in our Bellevue clinic. We are limited to one clinic for our first 6 months handling L&I matters, but we plan to add additional locations thereafter.  No-shows, late cancellations, and other ancillary fees (compensation) are established to protect your time.    Our physician panel is comprised of independent contract reviewers (1099) compensated on a per-case basis. This is not a treatment role—no patient contact, no exams, and no doctor-patient relationship is established.
