CT Technician (Computed Tomography)

Schedule: Days per Week: 5 Shift: Tuesday–Friday: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM Saturday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM On-call/Weekend Requirements: Saturdays only Duties Prepare patients for examinations, including radiopharmaceutical preparation. Monitor patients’ physical condition during procedures. Operate and monitor equipment, ensuring proper scanning setup. Requirements • Certifications: ARRT NM or CNNMT in Nuclear Medicine. • Licensure: NJ State License in Nuclear Medicine. • Skills: • Experience in general nuclear medicine (bone scans, hepatobiliary scans, lung scans, thyroid scans preferred). • CPR certification. • Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine or graduate of an approved RT & Nuclear Medicine Program. Job Responsibilities: • Perform CT scans while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy. • Prepare medical, surgical, and radiological supplies for procedures. • Maintain sterility of instruments and adhere to HIPAA regulations. • Communicate with patients and families before, during, and after procedures. • Monitor patient conditions, especially before and after contrast injections. • Maintain medical records, reports, and supplies inventory. • Assist with emergency response procedures when necessary. • Clean and maintain CT equipment, work areas, and supply rooms. • Follow venipuncture and power injector protocols. • Ensure timely imaging processing and communication with radiologists. As a Radiology Technologist, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician during medical procedures. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience. This part-time position requires working every Tuesday in Trenton, either Monday or Thursday in Southampton. Responsibilities Operating Neuro-vascular OEC 9800 C-Arm during peripheral arterial diagnostic and treatment procedures in a premier office-based lab. Maintain facilities, equipment, and materials in a condition to promote efficiency, health, comfort, and safety of patients and staff. Check equipment, supplies and accessories on a regular daily basis. Responsible for transferring DICOM images to PACS system. Assist physicians with procedures. Additional duties as assigned. Must be able to reliably travel to each clinic location. Requirements This part-time position requires working every Tuesday in Trenton, either Monday or Thursday in Southampton. Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with the (ARRT) required. Minimum one year of Interventional / Vascular Radiology Experience required Technical/Professional Training/Degree as a Radiologic Technologist Cultural sensitivity and excellent patient care skills. Ability to work well in a high volume, fast paced environment. Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work as part of a team.
