JOB SUMMARY: Operate blow/injection molding and auxiliary equipment including packaging quality parts using visual aids, job instructions, and work instructions. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned) 55% Operate auxiliary equipment, inspect and pack parts including, but not limited to: • Monitoring production machines and visually inspect product; • Visually inspecting and measuring parts; • Grinding moils, tails, runners • Monitoring grinders and empty as needed; and • Operate auxiliary equipment such as trimmers, leak checks, auto case sensors, box erectors, cameras, de-gaters, etc. • Perform operating tasks according to the 5S & JI training program 30% Package parts including, but not limited to: • Make boxes for all machines, as needed, and ensure that boxes are made for the beginning of the next shift; • Prepare labels for boxes; • Wrap skids as needed; • Properly labeling and loading skids for shipping per work instructions • Perform packaging tasks according to the 5S & JI training program 5% General computer use to include: recording of any production data in ERP system, SPC data entry in Hertzler, Labelview and/or complete final production paperwork (Bear Tracker). 5% Perform QA audits and notify shift lead or supervisor, if necessary. Requirements Minimum Qualification Standards: • A High school diploma or a GED is required. • Previous work experience directly related to the position is not a requirement but is highly desirable. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Contribute to the overall success of the company by performing all assigned duties in a professional, timely, and accurate manner. • Promote the Quality Improvement Process. • Understand customer part requirements and usage. • Must be able to keep up pace with machines. • Must be able to recognize machine malfunctions and get assistance. • Must be able to fill out proper forms as needed. (Accurate and legible) Equipment, Machines, and Software Used: Ability to use auxiliary equipment. Ability to use hand truck, wrapper, automatic loading systems, etc. Ability to use general office equipment. Mental Requirements: Light mental and visual attention required for performing work where there is some variety, but actions taken, and decisions made are limited to few possibilities. Work requires some coordination with others. Physical Requirements: Medium work: Exerting up to 55 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach. Ability to sit and stand, particularly for extended periods of time. Ability to push, pull and lift objects. Ability to use fingers, grasp, feel and perform repetitive motions. Ability to talk and hear. Communication Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. JOB SUMMARY Prince Industries located in Batavia, IL is currently seeking a Press Brake Operator for our fabrication shop. The Press Brake Operator performs operation for production such as press brake/hardware insertion, milling machines, secondary equipment and grinders, etc. to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic workpieces to specified print. We have openings on second shift. Second Shift: 2:30pm - 1am Monday - Thursday ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Understands and observes all necessary safety procedures: safety glasses, shoes, ear protection,  machine interlocks, lifting guidelines, etc. as designated in specific work area assigned. Visually and dimensionally inspects production parts for any defects and reports defects to immediate supervisor. Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications, using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and go-no-go gauges and other instructed equipment. Required to use statistical process control techniques. Reads blueprint for such information as dimensions and tolerances (i.e. GD&T or Manufacturing). Reads and interprets the Job Traveler for such information as number of workpieces to be machined,  job rate, sequence of operation, etc. Independently perform all job duties of machine operation with little or no instruction required such as:                        - Machine startup                         - Adjust tooling to maintain proper sizes                          - Replace broken or worn tooling                          - Identify non-functioning safety equipment or unsafe conditions                          - Conduct daily preventative maintenance checks to include proper coolant levels, filters, fan operation, etc. Troubleshoots and makes adjustments to equipment as needed for problem resolution. Completes necessary job related paperwork to include tags, inspection documents, production log, etc. Transports finished materials, manually or using pallet jack, to area indicated on the Job Traveler. Establishes, verifies and maintains the established production rate as indicated on the Job Traveler and reports any discrepancies immediately to department supervisor. Maintains good housekeeping in work area. Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred. Previous experience, apprenticeship or formal training. Minimum of 3 or more years machine operation experience in the field or related field. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Ability to recognize and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers as needed. Ability to comprehend and follow oral or written instructions. Ability to perform intermediate shop math skills and calculations: fraction conversions, divide, multiply,  basic right angle trigonometry, percentages, etc. Knowledge of Prince Industries quality policy and standards. Heat Treat Operator and Maintenance

Summary Will perform operations in the Heat Treat area as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct light duty maintenance, to have furnaces available for processing work orders (confined space work will be subcontracted to vendor base).  Maintenance includes maintaining flow scopes in good order and minor electrical trouble shooting and repairs – i.e replacing heating elements.  Read work tickets generated in the lab  Group parts to be processed together as permissible  Make up loads to process in the furnaces, either manually or using a hoist  Using a roller cart, transfer a tray with a basket of parts on it, to the furnaces and push the load into the furnaces.  Set the furnace cycle, times, atmospheres and monitor the progress of each cycle in each furnace.  When the cycle is completed, reverse the motions to unload parts back into the original containers.  Copper plate small parts (i.e. retainers), through progressive tank dipping on the plating line and dip strip the copper when the cycle is completed.  Charge and discharge the chromizing furnace once per day in the moor – this requires loosening and then retightening 8 bolts on each of the two chromizing furnaces.  Maintaining appropriate documentation with each work order, such as signing off furnace processing charts.  Occasionally putting parts into the -100 degree F. freezer.  Shot peening of retainers    ENVIRONMENTAL CHEMICAL CONTACTS:  In the Heat Treat Department, employees come in short duration contacts with the following chemicals:  Quench oils, lubricating oils, tri-valent chrome (solid chrome), zirconium, ammonium iodide, hexavalent chromium (chromic acid), sulfuric acid, cupric sulfate, endothermic gas, natural gas, anhydrous ammonia.  Furnace elevated temperatures, up to 1750 degree F.    Critical Competencies Demonstrated mechanical aptitude Ability to understand and follow work instructions Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word & Excel Requirements Education and Experience Requirements Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent At least 1 year experience in a manufacturing precision machining environment Knowledge of G&M Codes  Experience with manual turning/milling or drilling or CNC mill, lathe, broach and drilling is required Experience with a Key Seater is preferred Proficient knowledge of GD&T and drawing reading skills Experience with machine tools and inspection tools such as gauge blocks, dial indicators calipers and micrometers. Insert tooling nomenclature Ability to understand and follow work instructions Good communication skills and teamwork are essential Physical Demand and Work Environment:          For small parts, under 10 lbs. each (it is more of a repetitive things to place parts in and out of containers/heat treat baskets).  For heavier parts, we have lifting devices, jib hoists, lifting tables, magnets, etc.  We load/unload baskets 1 – 3 hrs. per day.  Occasionally more muscle is required when pushing loads, pulling loads on the roller cart, shifting them around in and out of furnaces.  Unbolting and bolting eight bolts on the chrome furnace, access doors requires pressure.   This is done one to two times daily (the heat/cool cycle is 24 hrs.).  Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO and Paid Company Holidays
