 Brief Overview The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal down time. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid equipment failures. Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth operations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Other duties as assigned by their manager. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Ø  Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment. Ø  Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ø  Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Ø  Excellent problem-solving skills. Ø  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools. Repair methods, including welding, inserting, or replacing items, will need to be made with consideration to quality, cost, and delivery. Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories. Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Complete required documentation, manually or by data entry Organize safe maintenance principles for regulating and scheduling breakdowns. Equipment/asset care and Planned Preventive Maintenance processes and procedures. Prioritize and complete daily work orders. Overall plant maintenance and other directives as requested by management. Participate in 5S, Quality, Safety, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing activities. Comply with Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards, procedures, and instructions. Maintain and improve high product quality by setting/managing proper welding conditions. Other duties and projects may be assigned based on the operational objectives of the company. Ideal candidate should have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years of maintenance experience in automotive manufacturing/production environment; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
