Join the #HarmlessMovement About the Role: Harmless Harvest has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to contribute to maintaining the financial well-being of a fast-growing organization through financial reporting and business analysis. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Manager of FP&A will provide financial information and decision-supporting analytical services for the owners and the executive team. This position requires excellent verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal relationship skills and a commitment to integrity. What you’ll be doing: Own, manage, and evolve the company’s financial operating model, ensuring that it remains accurate, scalable, and aligned with the strategic business approach Coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting process Create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts for entire P&L in close coordination with cross-functional partners Report and analyze financial results, with a deep understanding of variances to plan/forecast and the ability to clearly communicate key drivers Serve as the primary owner and SME for Magnitude, the financial reporting system used to consolidate and report results to corporate, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Develop annual SG&A budgets in collaboration with department heads and review/re-forecast throughout the year as necessary Develop annual Trade Expense budget in collaboration with Sales Team and review/re-forecast as necessary Develop financial business cases and assess opportunities/risks for new products, customer sell-ins, brands, innovations, trade, and marketing programs Generate and maintain ongoing SKU and customer/channel level P&Ls, providing visibility into margin performance and key profit drivers Direct access to the full Harmless Harvest leadership team as well as to the finance team at the corporate level Requirements What you’ll bring: BA/BS in Business Administration or Finance; MBA preferred; or equivalent experience 5+ years relevant finance and/or accounting experience with a consumer products company Advanced computer literacy in Excel and PowerPoint with a strong modeling background Proficiency in trade promotion, TPM systems and IRI analysis (nice to have, not required) Experience using and building reports using financial management systems Prior experience implementing new financial software systems and/or ERP (nice to have, not required) Excellent written and oral analytical and communication skills Ability to multitask and manage large, complex workloads Highly organized, flexible to daily work priorities, and eager to learn Next-level organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Meticulous attention to detail and timeliness of project delivery Ability to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision Who you are: Make the impossible, possible – someone who is resilient, optimistic, and determined Protect the most vulnerable – someone who is compassionate, empathetic and acts with integrityCraft incredible things – someone who is creative, passionate, with integrity Craft incredible things – someone who is creative, passionate, with keen attention to detail Act with heart – someone who is kind, generous, and respectful Benefits Why you’ll love it here: Join a passionate, considerate team that comes from all backgrounds Copious amounts of free coconut water Paid Time Off and Company Holidays Generous Parental Leave Comprehensive health benefits and perks ________________________________________________________ Additional Details Role: Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis Department: Finance & Accounting FLSA Status: Exempt (salaried) Base Comp Range: 160-205k Reports To: CFO Location: Oakland HQ – hybrid (3 days in office/2 days flex) Anticipated Start Date: ASAP The base comp range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
