An incumbent, progressive candidate for an at-large City Council seat in the Greater Boston Area is seeking a Campaign Manager. You will work directly with the candidate, staff the candidate at city events and debates, with going door-to-door and other public events, and with making phone calls. You will also be responsible for helping to grow and manage the volunteer base. The ideal candidate has past experience working on campaigns and is very well-organized. A successful candidate will be comfortable working campaign hours, greeting voters with the candidate in the early mornings, and does not mind some of the less glamorous aspects of campaign work (i.e., phone calls, canvassing, data entry). Monitors student behavior and enforces school rules related to student conduct, vehicle operation, and parking Assists school Administration in matters of safety and security as requested Controls traffic and parking on campus grounds Unlock and lock buildings as scheduled for events as well as securing the campus following protocols and/or checklist. Ensure inside and outside lights are turned on/off as required and inform the supervisor when any electrical or mechanical system is malfunctioning. Assist in investigations of violations on school campus by viewing and analyzing camera footage, talking with witnesses, and writing incident reports. Act as a liaison for the school campus with local law enforcement agencies to ensure the implementation of best practices Provide awareness education/information on an informal basis to students and employees.
