Green Leaf Solar is Hiring a Solar Installer! About the Role Green Leaf Solar is seeking a motivated and safety-minded Solar Installer to join our growing team. As a Solar Installer, you will work on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting commercial solar and electrical systems across the Bay Area. This is a hands-on position with travel opportunities to various local and regional sites. The Installer is an essential part of Green Power Energy's Field Operations team. As an Installer, each employee is working with the latest solar technology, building relationships with team members, and completing the installation of our products safely and on time. Green Power Energy's ideal candidate will have 2+ years of installation experience, a passion for learning basic energy system construction, terminology, and concepts. This position is an hourly role that requires working outside in extreme environments, working at heights, and prolonged periods of repetitious duties including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods. Pulling and fishing Ethernet cables to ensure proper installation and cable dressing for optimal performance. 3. Terminate Ethernet cables following industry standards for structured cabling systems. 4. Replace Enterprise network equipment such as access points and switches as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to network operations. 5. Conduct testing and troubleshooting of Wi-Fi and ethernet connections using specialized testing equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly. 6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of low-voltage systems with the overall network infrastructure. 7. Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or in a similar role, with a focus on cooling, fishing, and terminating Ethernet cables. 2. Hands-on experience in replacing Enterprise network equipment like access points and switches. 3. Proficiency in using tools such as a laptop, drill, Ethernet equipment, and Ethernet testing equipment to perform job responsibilities effectively. 4. Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems, structured cabling, and network infrastructure and cable certification 5.
