Temporary LA, SF, SEA (Remote, with ability to be onsite for occasional meetings) Seeking a temporary Legal Recruiter with 3+ years’ experience for a 6-month assignment to support full-cycle recruiting of attorneys and legal support professionals. Responsibilities: • Develop, own, and execute on specific recruitment plans for assigned staffing requests • Build and maintain a pipeline of highly qualified attorney and legal staff candidates • Source, review applications, conduct interviews, and discuss position requirements with candidate • Schedule interviews with hiring managers and communicate on next steps • Assess existing candidates, explore referred candidates, and plan for future needs • Provide candidate recommendations to the director, recruiter, and requesting attorneys • Gather, synthesize, and analyze interview feedback and data to iterate on candidate identification and vetting practices • Confirm candidate credentials and gather additional information requested by hiring managers • Conduct rate discussions/negotiations with strong attention to the budgeting requirements of the Firm, the client, and the specific project • Draft and manage job postings for all open positions • Provide consultative information to hiring managers on candidate market trends and rates • Support updates to the careers page and additional candidate resource materials • Track key staffing metrics/generate relevant reports regarding geographic markets and market rates • Manage collaboration with the Lateral and Staff Talent Acquisition team on recruiting events and initiatives • Proactively market and develop connections with legal associations, professional groups, law school alumni groups • Manage the administrative needs of candidate referral programs Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruiting, required. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with excellent communication and interviewing skills. Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail with the ability to exercise good judgment. Prior Applicant Tracking System/Contact Management System experience for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates required; (vi, Jobvite, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean is a plus). Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, follow-up, follow-through, and priority setting skills are required; demonstrated interest in participating in candidate outreach events and marketing efforts. Experience in a law firm or other professional services organization with a specific focus on legal recruiting is preferred. Hours are 9am-5:30pm (PST) Hourly range is $40-$45 (for Los Angeles)
