Requirements · 5+ Years experience as a payroll Supervisor or equivalent experience and education. · Strong understanding of payroll regulations, State, Federal and Local tax codes, and employment laws (Multi-state). · Experience working with Dayforce system is a plus. · Attention to details, mathematical skills, and problem-solving aptitude. · Knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel); HRIS Systems is a plus. · Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus. · Excellent communication and people skills. · Team player · Spanish is a plus! Duties: ·       Payroll Processing – Responsible for making sure employees are paid accurately and on time. Execute payroll activities, including calculating employee pay checks, withholding taxes, and any other deductions, as well as maintaining accurate payroll records for businesses and governments. Process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls. Support employees throughout the entire payroll lifecycle. Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures. ·       Time Validation - Responsible for reconciling worked hours approved by managers in Time System vs. Payroll System. ·       Payroll Validation - Payroll changes such as benefits, job, pay, taxes, leave, fringe benefits, and saving deductions, etc. Employer contributions calculations per pay period. ·       Payroll Reporting - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the efficiency of the entire payroll processing system. ·       Payroll Reconciliation - Reconciliation by pay period, monthly, quarterly and annual payroll. ·       Record Keeping – Maintain and document all payroll records. ·       Taxes – Ensure tax filing by setting up state tax IDs for the entire organization and keep current with taxations of salary, benefits, and other factors. Work closely with payroll vendor to update system and resolve tax discrepancies. ·       Garnishments: Process garnishment notices received from garnishments agencies through mail or ticket.  Verify that garnishment was set-up and deducted correctly. ·       Year-End – Reconciliation of year-end reporting and processing of W-2 forms to employees and government.
