Youth Soccer Coach

What You’ll Do As a coach at Veritas Prep you’ll help continue to build a strong sports program, developing student athletes in the areas of knowledge, physical skill, teamwork, leadership, and social and emotional growth. You’ll also: Help student athletes develop positive attitudes while promoting and teaching fair play and good sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork. Develop a thorough knowledge of all the athletic policies approved by Veritas Prep High School, including state and league regulations. Attend public/staff/departmental meetings when required. Maintain discipline and work to increase morale and cooperation within the school sports program. Assist in the necessary preparation to hold scheduled sport events or practices and adhere to scheduled facility times. Coordinate with maintenance and school employees and provide proper safeguards for maintenance and protection of assigned equipment and sites. Monitor student athletes' grades and conduct. Be present at all practices and games, and while traveling, provide assistance and guidance to and safeguards for each participant. Assist the Varsity coach on the bench during all home and away games. Complete and submit paperwork on all disabling athletic injuries on proper forms Direct student managers and statisticians on respective teams. Determine discipline and delineate procedures concerning due process when the enforcement of discipline is necessary. Monitor use and return of equipment, submitting an annual inventory Submit team records to Athletic Director, including awards lists, all signature forms, and all scores of each competition, including post-season play. Arrive early enough before practice, contests, and meetings to adequately prepare and remain long enough afterward to help players with problems or to become involved in staff discussions. Plan and implement in-season and out-of-season conditioning and weight programs. Perform such other duties that are consistent with the nature of the position and that may be requested by the Principal/Athletic Director. Requirements What You’ll Need Previous volleyball coaching experience (preferred) Knowledge and background in volleyball. TGA Premier Sports is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated part-time Youth Lead Golf Coach to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for leading tennis programs for youth in a fun, non-competitive environment, helping kids cultivate their skills while fostering a love for the game. As a Youth Lead Golf Coach, you will train and supervise other instructors, ensuring that all classes are engaging, educational, and in line with TGA's curriculum. You will provide individualized attention to students, motivate them to improve, and celebrate their successes. This position allows for creativity in coaching while following a structured curriculum designed to enhance players' development. This role is ideal for experienced coaches who enjoy mentoring others and have a passion for teaching young athletes. About Us: Amazing Athletes and Soccer Stars are nationally recognized youth sports programs that introduce children ages 2–10 to sports, fitness, and healthy habits in a fun, engaging way. We turn sports classes into the highlight of the week with lessons that keep kids excited to learn and play. Our goal is to help every child build confidence, coordination, and a lifelong love for physical activity. What You’ll Do: Lead fun and engaging sports and fitness classes for children ages 2–10. Travel to preschools, daycares, recreation centers, and other community locations around the Lehigh Valley. Use our proven curriculum to help kids develop a love for fitness and sports. Available Hours: Weekday mornings: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM (2–3 hour blocks) Weekday evenings: Monday–Friday (usually 2 or 3 days per week for this time slot), 4:30 PM–7:30 PM (2–3 hour blocks) Weekends: Saturdays & Sundays, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM (2–3 hour blocks) We can hire 1–3 coaches to cover these classes. The coach will foster a positive and respectful team culture rooted in discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork while developing players so that they might achieve a high level of skill in preparation for varsity level competition. This position requires travel and work in the evenings and weekends. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Player evaluation and development Assess players consistently and fairly to determine playing time, team positions, and readiness  Develop fundamental basketball skills and game understanding to prepare players for competition Team Leadership Foster a positive, disciplined, and respectful team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship and teamwork Design and execute organized, efficient, and purposeful practices that address individual and team needs Develop and implement effective game plans while making in-game adjustments to support player growth and team performance Supervise player behavior and conduct, ensuring a safe environment during practices, games, and travel Coordinate with the athletic directors to align systems, terminology, and expectations Student athlete support and mentorship Serve as a positive role model, encouraging personal growth, accountability, and a strong work ethic both on and off the court Encourage student-athletes to maintain eligibility and prioritize their education Maintain clear and respectful communication with players, parents, varsity coaching staff, and school administration and the schools athletic directors.
