Position Overview: As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, guiding our clients through complex legal matters, and representing them vigorously in court. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, excellent advocacy skills, and a passion for achieving justice for clients. Salary: $120,000 - $170,000 annually, along with an attractive bonus structure. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Litigation Management: Oversee all phases of litigation from case inception through trial, including the development of case strategies, discovery, and settlement negotiations. Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their legal issues, provide legal advice and develop effective strategies. Court Representation: Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and arbitration proceedings, ensuring high-quality advocacy at all times. Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to inform case strategy and support legal arguments. Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests that are clear, concise, and persuasive. Trial Preparation: Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to prepare trial materials, including witness lists, exhibit binders, and jury instructions. Case Analysis: Evaluate cases, identify issues, and provide recommendations for the best course of action. Client Relations: Maintain strong communication with clients, providing regular updates on case status and developments. Qualifications: Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Licensing: Licensed to practice law in Texas with a strong understanding of state and federal litigation procedures. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience, with a strong emphasis on personal injury or employment law cases. Skills: Outstanding communication, negotiation, and courtroom skills, with strong legal writing ability. Trial Experience: Proven trial experience with the ability to assertively represent clients in high-stakes situations. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
