In addition, you should have good customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively with our customers during offsite work. • Operate and inspect Hog trucks to diagnose defects. • Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul Hog vehicles (trucks), their engines, and assemblies, such as hydraulic and electrical systems. • Maintain, repair, and rebuild Hog trucks, functional components, and parts. • Examine and inspect truck components to locate cracks, breaks, leaks, or other problems. • Conduct routine and special inspections as required by regulations. • Inspect completed work to certify that maintenance meets standards and that vehicle is safe and ready for operation. • Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. • Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective maintenance. • Modify systems, or components, following drawings, schematics, charts, engineering orders, and technical publications. • Inspect vehicles for wear or other defects and measure parts for wear, using precision instruments. • Obtain fuel and oil samples and check them for contamination. • Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with Hog Technologies specifications. • Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles. • May anticipate 10% travel .
