Client: Government Agency Position: Business Analyst - Advanced (PALM) Contract Term: ASAP - June 2026 with renewal Pay: $55/Hr - $58/Hr based upon experience Location: On Site - Tallahassee, FL must be willing to move to the area Work Authorization: USC or GC Scope: Background: Rewrite of financial accounting system and modernization. Education: Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or other related field is required. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of Business Process Analysis and systems analysis is required in a financial group. Proficiency in process mapping/modeling with tools such as Visio is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, required. Proficiency in writing SQL Queries and performing Data Analysis is required. Experience working with Microsoft DevOps is highly desired. Technical Experience (programming or operations) working in IBM Mainframe, Distributed, and Cloud computing environments is highly desired. Knowledge of data migration, change and release management is desired. Knowledge of testing and quality assurance tools and techniques is desired. Preference will be given to candidates with agile project experience and use of Azure DevOps to manage user requirements and backlogs. Responsibilities: Research and understand FDOT business processes and their inter-relationships. Document and diagram business and system processes and dependencies between them. Research and document impacts on agency business systems in relation to the PALM implementation. Facilitate joint analysis workshops with the business units. Gather and document business and technical requirements as user stories in Azure DevOps and other tools. Manage backlog and work items using Azure DevOps. Coordinate with Development and QA teams. Develop Test Plans and Test Cases. Coordinate testing and quality assurance efforts. Perform oversight reviews of deliverables for compliance with department standards.
