We are a not for profit agency providing psychological and counseling services.   What We Need You to Do Provide individual and group supervision to a diverse cohort of trainees, including doctoral interns (APPIC), practicum students, associates, and postdocs Oversee and continuously refine CIP’s comprehensive training program, including scheduling, curriculum development, and ongoing trainee support Collaborate with senior leadership on program administration, accreditation standards, and clinical oversight Lead and/or participate in didactic training seminars, case conferences, and community-building events Serve as a clinical and professional mentor, modeling reflective practice, clinical depth, and ethical care Ensure alignment of training goals with CIP’s mission to provide equitable and affordable services to underserved populations What You Bring to the Table Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) in the state of California Solid foundation in psychodynamic theory and practice, with a commitment to depth-oriented psychotherapy Supervision experience with early-career clinicians across various levels (practicum, postdoc, associate) Comfort and competence in curriculum development, training design, and group facilitation Ability to balance clinical leadership with administrative responsibilities, and navigate program logistics with clarity and care A collaborative spirit, appreciation for nuance, and a deep respect for the transformational process of clinical training Details ~25 hours/week (includes ~16 onsite hours in San Rafael, remaining remote) Flexible start date — open until filled Part-time salaried role with flexible benefits and optional 401K Ongoing professional development and team support included Ideal candidates will have a psychodynamic orientation and experience supervising early-career clinicians This is more than a job—it’s a chance to contribute to something lasting, meaningful, and grounded in clinical excellence.
