If you are looking for immediate placement in a private house for a woman who is very active but has alzthimers, with a beautiful upstairs bedroom and full bath, please read this entire posting and only respond if you are: -Local to Sonoma County -Have a Car with valid CA DL & clean record (you will drive our car for caregiving, and yours for personal) -A single person with no pets -Have experience with Alzheimer's type dementia, or frontal temporal -Can fill out some paperwork for insurance, to include a w2, & I9 (will provide) and must have ID, & a secondary ID like SS or passport -Have a caregivers certification (OR IHSS will suffice, but it’s NOT IHSS) If NOT, willing to obtain? ($30 online, takes a few hrs) -Clean & Sober (Ie no drinking on the job at least). No drama. No criminal record. Currently housed -Speak english and willing to keep learning about this disease -Has common sense, or sense of humor (or all three) -Can do easy food prep, regular housekeeping, organization, run a house, keep on-top of ongoing maintenance, etc. -Early riser (6 am most days) -Mature: Ie Plays well with others (We have a second part time caregiver who works 70 hrs a month.
