SUMMARY The Respite Aide will play a vital role in offering emotional support and in-home respite care for children, adolescents, adults, and families who benefit from the Respite Management Program. Our dedicated staff will provide much-needed rest and relief to parents, guardians, and caregivers of those facing behavioral health challenges. While our staff engages and supervises the designated family member(s), caregivers will have the opportunity to take a well-deserved break, allowing them to recharge while knowing their loved ones are in caring hands. Respite services will be available during the day, evening, and weekend hours, tailored to clients who have an emotional or behavioral history that necessitates specialized support or supervision. Respite Aide hourly pay rate is $20 per hour Respite Aide is a supplemental position Respite Aide assignments available throughout Lancaster County, PA PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide documentation of the care the client receives during the respite placement including daily progress notes, incident reports, medication administration logs and other information deemed necessary. Ensure effective communication and positive interactions with client (s) and family.  Provide behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and peer interaction. Ensure and assist with appropriate social interactions and leisure activities.  Work with families to provide a supportive home environment. Address basic childcare needs to include toileting, diaper change, and feeding.   Complete paper work and electronic documentation as required and in a timely fashion. Comply with all HIPAA guidelines regarding confidentiality. Travel to and from clients' home and/or community locations to perform duties. Attend 30-minute monthly supervision. Complete annual training requirements for position. Perform other duties as required. Individual’s ages range from 18-65 and their needs vary from high functioning, fairly independent Individuals to those who have total physical care needs or behavior support needs. Most Individuals participate in a school or day program during the day, although Family Home Providers are still responsible for being available during the day if needed. You will receive support from Enriching Lives to assist you in providing services in your own home such as initial and continuing education, the support of a multidisciplinary team, 24 hour on call professional support, and overnight relief support. Enriching Lives staff will visit you and the Individual regularly to provide support and ensure that the Individual’s goals are being met. At a minimum, you must have 1-2 spare bedrooms, a safe and pleasant living environment, reliable transportation, a high school diploma or GED and a designated backup Family Home Provider. All adult members of the household and frequent visitors to the home must have a clear criminal history and a DMV record without any major violations. Description Health, Housing and Homeless Services (H3) is a division of Contra Costa County Health Services. The Health, Housing and Homeless Services Division integrates housing and homeless services across our health system; coordinates health and homeless services across county government and in the community; and works with key partners such as the Employment and Human Services Department, the Housing Authority, school districts, housing providers, law enforcement and cities to develop innovative strategies to address the community’s health and social needs (https://cchealth.org/h3/). H3 holds multiple roles within Contra Costa’s Homelessness Continuum of Care (CoC). One of H3’s primary roles is functioning as the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) Lead Agency. The HMIS is the central database to collect, track, analyze and report uniform client and activity data regarding the provision of shelter, housing, and services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness or who at risk of homelessness within the Contra Costa CoC region. The Data Analyst will be responsible for a variety of data and administrative tasks related to the HMIS, including but not limited to HMIS usage across partnering agencies, data management, analysis, dashboard and report development, and monitoring of programmatic and client level data. Salary: $27.92 - $32.33 Hourly ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Collect, maintain, and store HMIS User Agreements. • Ensure HMIS end user adherence to workstation security policies • Detect and respond to violations of the HMIS Policies and Procedures • Generate and build reports and dashboards using HMIS reporting tools.
