ABOUT US Cameron House is a 150 year old institution that is deeply woven into San Francisco history and rooted in faith-based outreach and support. JOB SUMMARY Reports to the Chief Program Officer and works as a member for the Programs department. Responsibilities include: Directing the work of the Counseling Team; regularly evaluating the program’s effectiveness; managing the finances and budget of the program; engaging in community outreach and education; and delivering counseling services to clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Collaborate with the Chief Program Officer, Social Services Director, and Director of Youth Programs to set programmatic goals and objectives that align with the organization’s mission, vision and annual goals. - Oversee and direct the programmatic and operational work of the Counseling Services Team - Conduct regular programmatic evaluations, rooted in metrics, to ensure participants and funder’s needs are being met - Oversee, develop and manage counseling budgets and approve reimbursements/disbursements for expenses - Conduct outreach and community education - Provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and families with emotional conflicts, challenges, and difficulties especially survivors of domestic violence (children and adults) - Attend staff/community/committee meetings and assist with other Cameron House programs/events, as needed CORE COMPETENCIES Strong Communication Skills - Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Cantonese is a MUST! - Mandarin is a plus - Good English writing and verbal skills, able to communicate information and ideas clearly so others understand you.
