This position is an in office position in the city of Oakland, Monday-Friday, 8 hours a day. Quickbooks experience is required. The Senior Finance Manager of Payroll Tax works in a team that ensures that all payroll deductions are accurate and appropriate, helps troubleshoot reporting or programming errors and supports inquiries from payees related to deductions or tax forms including the IRS W-2, 1099’s and other required reporting.    Key Responsibilities:  Lead the payroll tax function for Marketer Payroll Operations, managing the accurate and timely processing of all federal, state, and local payroll tax contributions and filing appropriate tax returns for four separate Employers of Record (EOR’S).  Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations across multiple states and jurisdictions, including setup, deposits, filings, and reconciliations.  Oversee year-end activities including preparation and distribution of W-2s, 1099s, 940/941 filings, and other required documentation.  Manage and support audits from federal and state tax authorities.  Review the daily / weekly pension contributions for SAG and WAG, etc.  Develop and maintain payroll tax procedures and best practices, ensuring consistent service delivery.  Collaborate with internal teams including Marketer Payroll Managers, Marketer Payroll Operations, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure seamless end-to-end service.  Other duties as assigned  Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPP certification is strongly preferred.  10–15 years of progressive payroll tax experience, including significant work managing payroll tax for multiple external clients.  Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and agency requirements.  Demonstrated success with strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.  Experience managing high-volume, multi-state payroll tax operations across a range of industries, including entertainment or advertising preferred.  Advanced skills in payroll and tax systems (ADP/MASTER TAX) and Microsoft Excel.  Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced service environment.  FLSA Status: Exempt

This is a contract role and perfect for someone who excels at managing financial records and wants to contribute to our success. Responsibilities: Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable. Reconcile bank/credit card statements and track property-related expenses. Prepare monthly financial reports. Track tenant payments and handle invoicing. Organize and maintain financial records, receipts, and invoices for property accounts. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. General office filing and other tasks as needed. Qualifications: Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in property management or real estate. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks independently. Fluency in Cantonese is a plus. **This is an ON-SITE position.** The E-Branch Services Specialist will provide service and support for members over the phone dealing with requests that are both routine in nature and some that require extensive research and use of problem solving skills. This individual will, respond to incoming calls and select the appropriate products and services to meet member request. This will all be done while meeting or exceeding the set call quality and service standards in the call center. Respond to member service inquires in the time set by management. Send and receive email, fax, and paperwork to and from existing and potential new members for account related activities. Reset passwords, challenge questions, and PINs for members using electronic services according to department procedures. Take complete ownership of every call whether it requires a call back, extended research, or assistance from other departments. Providing proactive solutions to member service. Process member transactions accurately, efficiently and timely including accepting cash and check deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments etc. On a self-directed basis, continue to improve in individual level of competency through training and development on established educational programs. Perform other duties as assigned by manager. Requirements Experience: One to three years previous experience in a call center or retail service position. Education/Certifications/Licenses: A high school degree or equivalent Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature.
