Life Is Good Auto Spa is opening up a new location on Bainbridge Island. We will be offering premium hand washing/drying as well as three levels of automotive detailing. The individual (for now, more to come) will be responsible for both car washing/drying as well as detailing. Some experience in both is preferred, but we will be training you on all aspects of what is expected at our high standards level. You will be joining our highly experienced team of 6 yacht detailers that will be helping out at the Auto Spa as well. We are looking for very detail oriented individuals that truly have a passion for making things look amazing. You must have a flexible schedule and your own transportation. We provide all tools, equipment and liquids to perform the jobs. You will be responsible for showing up in appropriate attire, and bringing what you will need to eat/drink through the day. Job Requirements: • Candidate should have at least 10 years of automotive experience and 5 years in a supervisory/management role. • They must have strong leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to understand and manage a large, diverse staff. • Candidate must possess strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors. • Managers are required to stay abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations affecting their operations and comply with them, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know regulations. Also they must provide the necessary training on regulations and ethical practices. This job will require the use/knowledge of all machinery for surfacing material (jointer/planer) as well as experience with shapers, tenoners, and mortisers. This is a full time position.
