Main Duties and Tasks of Engineering and Maintenance Department Preventive maintenance programme. Carry out proposed renovation of guest rooms or public areas. Fire and Safety procedures. Any Emergency Procedures. Back-up System (Diesel Generator (DG) Sets and UPS Backup) Fix any water leaks (isolation points). Maintenance calls logging and action. Ensure all types of equipment are checked regularly for proper and efficient operation. Regular tests of fire prevention system. Maintenance request forms filled out for all equipment or areas in need of repair All guest requests are given priority. Emergency lighting. Plant and Equipment Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM).

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. Conduct site preparations including concrete forming and finishing as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the installation process. Assist with landscape maintenance and hardscape projects as required. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements Proven experience in construction or carpentry is essential. Familiarity with frame carpentry, welding, masonry, and assembly techniques is preferred. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Experience with concrete forming and finishing is a plus. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and work in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Previous construction site experience is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
